What to expect and how to prepare -
If you win, we will be reaching out to schedule a planning call with you where we go in-depth on what to wear, where the portrait session will be, products & pricing, and more before your session.

We will cover everything you need to know during that call!

What if my dog is too excited/aggressive/fast/not OK off leash?
Not a problem! We actually recommend that your dog is on-leash for their session, so that you can be in control and for the safety of your dog and those around us.
​
We do edit out leashes so those don't show up in the final images!

Other Important Notes
1. The book will be published, so you must give us permission to showcase your dog in print and online, as part of your involvement.

2. The donation of $50 is due in full to confirm your booking and is non-refundable.
​
3. We are aiming to complete 60 sessions for the book by the end of August. The goal is to have the book ready by the end of September, but this will be confirmed as we get closer.

4. Your booking is subject to terms and conditions and other policies, which you can review during your booking process.

What is the book project?
We will be capturing portraits of dogs at different stages in their lives and then telling their stories!
​
This will be a fantastic way to show how much our beloved pets change how they age and how meaningful their stories are and how they impact our lives.
​
This is a great opportunity to have beautiful & fun portraits of your dog showing off his/her full personality! And if you would like to be included in the portraits, you can be!
​
Portraits will be located outdoors at one of our recommended locations in gorgeous Colorado Springs

How can I be a part of this book?
If chosen, you'll win a $350 pet portrait experience with our studio (which includes your pet portrait session - valued at $199 and an 8x10 matted print of your favorite portrait!) - and not to mention a spot in the book!

We will also be donating a portion of the booking deposits to a local pet rescue!

If my dog gets a spot in the book, what will that look like?
If you win a spot in our book, your furry friend will get a full page spread to themselves, along with a block of text describing their story.
​
The full and complete book will then be available for purchase in September 2024.

Will I receive a free copy of the book if my dog is featured?
If your pup is featured in the book, you can certainly choose to purchase a copy!
​
However, due to the cost of printing/shipping each book, winners will not be able to be given a copy for free. Instead, they will win a complimentary portrait session and 8x10 matted print of their favorite image!
